-Innwa
: the old city, long time capital of Myanmar, before Mandalay
was built during the second Myanmar Empire. The interesting

: a town which located about 11 km proverb from Mandalay , on
the western bank of the Ayeyarwaddy river is well-known for its
90 tons Mingun bell, the largest ringing bell in the world;a

Pagoda and Hsinbume Pagoda.

-Pyinoolwin
: A charming little hill resort, over 1000 meters above sea-
level, well- known for its colonial- style houses with large

-Monywa
: the commercial center of Chintwin Vally lies 136 km north west
of Mandalay and on the east bank of Chitwin River. The
interesting sites in Monywan are Thanboddhay Pagoda and
Powintaung Cave which contains Buddhist statues and murals
dating to the 17th and 18th centuries.

Bagan |

One
of the richest archaeological sites in Asia, the capital of the
first ancient Myanmar Empire. It is located on the eastern bank
of the Ayeyarwaddy River in the dry zone of central Myanmar and
approzimately 193km south of Mandalay. They 42 sq km area of
Bagan contains over 2000 edifices, the well – preserved pagodas
and temples of the 11th-13th century.

Mount Popa |

Mount
Popa is 1520 meters high, about 50 km southeast of Bagan, is
extinct volcano. It is famous for being the legendary home of
Myanmar Nats (powerful guardian spirits), a collections of 37
super natural beings. The Mount Popa area has also been designed
as a National Par, an excellent place for ecotourism.

Inle lake |

Inle
lake is one of the most tourist attraction with the vast
picturesque lake, 900 meters above sea – level , 22 km long and
10 km across, located in the heart of the Shan State which
shares borders with Thailand, Laos and which is in the mountains
so it is cooler than other areas. It has population of 150,000
many of whom live on floating islands of vegetation. Inle Lake,
natural and unpolluted, is famous for it’s scenic beauty and the
unique leg sowing of the Inthas, the native lake dwellers. Among
the most of famous are Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Indein Village, Nga
Phe Kyaung (jumping cats monastery), floating markets, etc.

Tuanggyi |

The
capital of southern Shan State, over 1430 meters above sea-level
all the year round it is hill station, cool and splendid with
pine dad natural resort. The market, on every fifth days is
crowded with ethnic minorities in the traditional dresses. The
journey from Taunggyi down to Inle Lake is about an hour. It is
an ideal town fro leisure travelers during the summer the
festival of the hot air balloon is the most famous in Myanmar
too.

45 km by car from Kalaw and only about 2 hrs drive from Heho

Shwe U Min Pagoda.

Bago |

The
ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century is
situated about 80 km from Yangon. Among the many places of
cultural heritage include the huge Reclining Buddha of Mawdaaw
Pagoda, Kalyani Sima (Ordination Hall) the four giant Buddha
images of Kyaikpan Pagoda and the excavation site and
restoration work of Kanbawzathadi, the palace of king Bayinnaung
are some of the places of interest.

archeological site of the ancient Pyu capital of 5th

Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda |

Kyaikhtiyo pagoda is one of the most and celebrated of all
pagodas in Myanmar, about 160 km from Yangon and 11 km of hiking
from the base camp at Kyaikhto. The panoramic view, the vastness
of this blue mountain range the sunset and sunrise are
remarkable, moving , charming and romantic.
